• Composting of agro-zootechnical, agro-industrial and civil residues.
• Anaerobic digestion of organic residues.

Technical instruments supporting the activities:

The Sector is equipped with a chemical-physical analysis laboratory for zootechnical slurry, mud, compost and agro-industry wastewaters; it is also equipped with a lab for the determination of gaseous emissions (ammonia and odours) derived from zootechnical activities, agro-industry and organic residues processing activities.
